Differences Between HDMI Connectors and DVI Connectors

DVI cable was introduced to channel video interface directly from a computer to a monitor. However, it did not address the need for audio, which is required when connecting televisions to other electronic devices for obvious reasons. Since television is a multisensory experience a new cable had to be developed that could deliver both video and audio to the viewing audience, so HDMI connectors were invented to handle both requirements.
